About the Role

As part of our continued international expansion plans, ProBikeKit is seeking a versatile and ambitious marketing manager to steer and deliver our brand marketing strategy in North America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, planning and activating brand marketing projects in the USA and Canadian cycling markets.

Key objectives:

• Grow Brand Awareness - putting PBK in front of more cyclists.
• New Customer Acquisition- creating opportunities for database sign-ups and first transactions.
• Brand Reputation - improve the perception of PBK among American cyclists.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal time in our PBK USA journey; with a strong website and the support of an experienced trading and digital marketing team already in place, we’re now ready to fully explore all branding sub-channels with the medium-term aim of developing a USA Marketing Team as each channel grows. As such, the key areas of initial responsibility will be:

• Events - researching, costing and presenting local and national event participation, sponsorship or branding opportunities.
• Affiliation, Ambassadors amp; Influencers Sourcing and signing of social media ambassadors, bloggers and retail affiliate partners that resonate with our core US cycling customer and deliver additional streams of revenue for PBK USA.
• Social Media grow following, engagement and boost brand reputation on key cycling media channel.
• Press amp; PR Develop and nurture new relationships with US and Canadian cycling press, forming partnerships and uncovering opportunities to promote PBK products and brand in a positive light.

Our growth plans are really ambitious, with the full support of THG to make blue-sky ideas a reality. The role would therefore suit a candidate that can quickly assimilate to and embody the PBK culture and core customer, representing and championing our brand with relevant and bold ideas from day one.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within the cycling/events industry.
• Proven ability to build, develop and drive multiple brand marketing campaigns.
• Experience owning campaign budget and allocating spend in line with wider growth strategies.
• Experience in delivering strong brand development and experience.
• Impeccable attention to detail and solid communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Resourceful and results driven individual with the ability to work well under pressure.
