Job Title: Finance Coordinator (BPO Department)

Department: BPO Operations - Finance

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Status: Full Time

Reports To: Senior Manager, BPO Financial Operations

Positions Supervised: N/A

Work Schedule: During normal business hours, Monday-Friday.

Assessments: PI Behavioral and Cognitive assessments

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for monthly reconciliations for assigned bank and ensure timely and accurate month end reconciliation. Applicants should possess strong excel and strong problem-solving skills. The position requires daily interaction with internal team members and assistance to managers with different projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assigned bank accounts reconciliation and analysis
  • Weekly and monthly claim fund reporting reconciliation
  • Reviewing daily financial transactions
  • Posting financial transactions in accounting system
  • Advance departmental goals and mission by assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Creating guides and in-house documentations
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Experience:

1-2 years of Funding, Banking, Billing, A/P, A/R, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred

SKILLS amp; ABILITIES:

Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point software applications.

Great Plains or other accounting software experience preferable.

Prior funding, claims, or medical stop loss experience is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasional lifting or bending. Sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Modern office suite in high rise building in downtown Chicago.

Home internet access required while working remotely.
