YOU DO
- Effectively manage programs and projects
- Serve as client lead on projects and some accounts
- Demonstrate good client service practices
- Step in for account manager if needed
- Write client-ready comms content such as emails, press releases, bylines, and blogs
- Run client and team meetings
- Participate in planning using INKβs four pillars; understand the strategy of the client and the integrated program
- Work with all teams across INK to manage and execute integrated programs
- Conceptualize and drive external comms campaigns, based on client and media/analyst market understanding
- Build and maintain relationships with media and analysts
- Counsel and prep executives for interviews and other briefing and speaking opportunities
- Follow industry trends and recommend ideas based on this understanding
- Delegate to team members, providing effective guidance and reviews
- Play an integral role in Planning + Analysis, measurement against set KPIs
- Informally mentor junior staff
- ID and participate in new business efforts
Requirements
YOU HAVE
- 4+ years of communications or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrable media relations skills
- Experience managing and leading multiple projects
- Proficient in general business and potentially communications software
- Experience using multiple social media platforms
- Ability to quickly understand client industries
- Ability to write compelling content for a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to work on multiple client accounts while paying strict attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve, apply sound judgement, and delegate within team environment
- Ability to contribute to integrated communications plans
