Corin is seeking a Technical Manufacturing Specialist to manufacture, assemble, break down, test, and service the navigation system for our OMNIBotics line of business. Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.
The Main Responsibilities of a Technical Manufacturing Specialist are to:
Manufacturing
- Fully understand company’s navigation system
- Manage all OMNIBotics manufacturing work orders and inventory transactions
- Understand ISO amp; FDA Quality Requirements to develop inventory reports
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide manufacturing training to OMNIBotics team members
- Work closely with marketing, sales agents, and other staff
Testing
- Manage OMNIBotics equipment inventory locations to perform asset reporting
- Manage OMNIBotics inventory tracking in SAGE including maintaining inventory par levels
- Verify and test newly manufactured equipment and install new software revisions
Service
- Troubleshoot electrical amp; mechanical issues
- Complete appropriate documentation for services performed
- Ensure appropriate objective evidence is collected and know when it is needed
- Update Device History Records as needed
- Maintain a Lean amp; Six Sigma style working environment
Requirements
The Ideal Technical Manufacturing Specialist will have/ be:
- Minimum of 4-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in FDA and ISO regulated environments and GMPs
- Experience in working with highly technical software uploads
- Advanced Excel skillset, including pivot tables and V-Lookups
- Experience with ERP reporting tools, SAGE preferred
- 3+ years in the Medical Device Industry, Orthopedics, or joint reconstruction highly preferred
- Up to 10% travel is required
