We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in our Pittsburgh, Pa office to work on our client projects located in North America.
Risk Focus is a NYC-based company that provides strategic IT consulting to global enterprises. Our DevOps and Infrastructure practice provides solutions, methodologies, and strategic guidance for digital transformation, containerization, and automation.
Our Financial Services team offers strong domain expertise and technology acumen to deliver feature-focused solutions in Capital Markets.

Risk Focus uses Agile/Scrum Delivery to manage all of our project efforts.
As a project manager you will:
- Own the agile process: planning sessions, standups, demos and retrospectives
- Manage the output of a team of talented engineers, partnering with leads, architects, and engagement managers to keep the project on track and stakeholders engaged
- Work with stakeholders and team members to keep projects and track and the process productive, identifying and clearing blockers
- Report on the state and progress of the project, defining, calculating, and delivering key project metrics, blockers, and risks
- Manage the evolving backlog of the project, collaborating on changing priorities as new information is discovered
- Help evolve the agile process at Risk Focus, as we engaged in continual improvement
Requirements
The strongest candidates will have as many of the following as possible:
- More than 3 years of experience managing agile projects of single (or more) pizza teams
- Experience in both time- and feature-boxed methodologies
- Experience in development and/or DevOps, especially in a public cloud environment
- 3+ years enterprise experience, especially in Financial Services
- Experience in full-cycle SDLC, from project inception to deployment
- Startup or small-team experience, knowing how to move quickly
- Strong, attentive communication skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, flexible and ability to multi-task and handle concurrent projects
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of technical and business partners
- Ability to control and direct group meetings in a distributed/videoconferencing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Strongest candidates will have:
- Scrum Master certification
- AWS Associate certification
