Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides individual and group education/treatment services in accordance with licensing, certification, amp; productivity standards.
- Maintains documentation per agency quality assurance procedures and established clinical performance standards.
- Acts in a professional role within the program to promote the mission, ethics amp; brand promise of the Walden agency.
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
- Coordinates/networks with others on needs of clients both internally as well as with other community organizations/partners as needed.
- Provides crisis intervention services as needed.
- Attends and actively participates in trainings and team meetings following established procedures for case assignment and review.
- Provides internal amp; external outreach services to include but not limited to staffing coverage, crisis intervention, and training as scheduled amp; needed.
- Cooperates with work team/agency on accomplishment of strategic objectives and activities as needed.
- Manage client’s concerns.
- Adheres to all policies, procedures amp; regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Licensure, Education, amp; Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s degree in related field preferred. AA degree plus 2 years direct Addictions Counseling experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. HS diploma plus addiction certification above Trainee status in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
- Trainee status with the MD Board of Professional Counselors amp; Therapists, CSC-AD, CAC-AD or higher certification required upon hire.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Obtained specialized training in: CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, collaborative documentation desired.
