About the TeamThe Learning Assistant team is expanding. We know that many students don’t know how to study effectively, they often get stuck and lose motivation. In that moment of being overwhelmed, we provide the trusted coach they turn to. The Learning Assistant understands what the student is trying to learn, can assess how much they already know, and then provides personalized guidance on the best way to learn the material. We build upon billions of study data points answered every week, along with key learning science principles, to build delightful experiences that motivate and increase confidence for students when they're struggling.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Learning Assistant team who will partner cross-functionally with the team’s engineering manager, designer, analyst, and engineers to build a delightful and engaging user experience that is increasingly personalized to each individual learner.In this role:
  • Bring to life the product vision for the next phase of our Learning Assistant, including ways to personalize the experience even further and use our study data in powerful ways to build new learning tools.
  • Partner with the user research and design teams to conduct user interviews and drive synthesis of insights to inform the product roadmap and build conviction
  • Break down large ambiguous problem spaces and prioritize them to help focus the team on key hypotheses we want to deliver
  • Work with engineering, data-science and design team members to ship valuable study-enhancing features that are impactful as well as delightful for our students
  • Coordinate with marketing and our subscription teams to make sure we’re getting our features into the hands of the right users at the right time in their learning journey.
Required Qualifications:
  • You have 4+ years of PM experience at a consumer company
  • You bring a user-centric approach to product management with a proven track record for building delightful, value-adding user experiences that users can’t live without
  • You get inspired when hearing about new machine-learning advancements and can see how they can bring to life solutions for key users problems
  • You have worked with ambiguity and have put structure around a vision your team was excited to go and deliver on.
  • You can follow along with engineers as they talk through technical trade-offs and can provide guidance based on how it could impact the user experience
  • You are pumped about building a great company for the long term, and making a huge, positive impact in the world and on education
  • You have professional and/or lived experience that embodies and exemplifies Quizlet’s core values: Help people learn, Be humble candid and open, Teach yourself something new, Be an owner, Act with urgency
