BURNCO is looking to add a skilled Mixer Driver to our Colorado team in Denver. Someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. Join a solid team, building infrastructure, that will be around for generations.

What you will be doing:

  • Safely operate ready-mix truck with timely deliveries and order accuracy
  • Complete routine maintenance of equipment, including reporting minor mechanical issues timely and thorough cleanliness of unit daily
  • Contribute to keeping areas in and around the plant clean and hazard free
  • Comply with BURNCO policies and local, state, and federal regulations including DOT and company driving requirements
  • Complete required paperwork such as proper pre-trip/post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and work orders
  • Escalate concerns to supervisor
  • Cross train as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Reality of the Job:

  • You might work long hours during peak times
  • You will work most Saturdays, especially during peak season


What we would like from you:

    • Ability to maintain proper attendance while working irregular hours, including scheduled Saturdays
    • Ability to work from other BURNCO plants based on business needs
    • Ability to pass PSP, MVR, background check, drug test and physical assessment
    • Ability to manage emotions in stressful or frustrating situations
    • Ability to learn the various ready-mix designs and material components such as admixtures, slump/water ratios, and concrete properties/consistencies
    • Commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork
    • 23+ years old with valid CDL license preferred
    • 2 years ready-mix or 1-year commercial driving experience
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
    • FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration

Bonus Eligibility: Annual Hour Bank Bonus Accrual

Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $27.75
