We are looking to fill a short-term contract role focused on delivering quality and usability improvements to our customer-facing Help Center, built on MadCap Flare. This contractor will use their MadCap Flare expertise and experience to meet feature requirements defined by our Product Knowledge group. You are a motivated self-starter who can execute tasks on clearly defined deadlines and collaborate with the Product Knowledge group on new ideas and best practices related to usability. Experience with MadCap Flare is required.
This is a two-month contract with the potential to extend based on project needs.
Requirements
- Proficient to advanced MadCap Flare skills
- Experience creating, managing, and publishing single-source content with Madcap Flare
- Experience implementing a range of MadCap Flare features, including snippets, expanders, micro content, tagging and more
- Excellent technical writing, editing and communication skills, with a broad knowledge of documentation practices
Requirements
- Implementing feature updates in our MadCap Flare project based on a defined product roadmap
- Updating existing product documentation and its presentation in a Help Center to implement quality improvements
- Working with other writers to take the current technical content to the next level
- Collaborating on new ways to simplify our customer’s journey with our products, recognizing the various stages of documentation needs from adoption by the new user, to supportive, real-time reference, to the advanced user needs for information regarding updated or new functionality.
