Description:
As a senior developer, you will work with the team to design and build cloud-based APIs and microservices using technologies such as Java 8, Spring Boot 2, Spring Rest API, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop back-end Microservices and REST APIs to support data ingest, validation, storage, processing, anonymization, and view creation.
- Work with our cloud platform upon which these capabilities are built, as well as provide feedback to the cloud platform team to help improve it
- Work with platform architects and leads to deliver a platform that is easy to use, scalable, robust, and performant
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with other team members
- Follow technology trends and best practices, promoting them within the team where appropriate
Requirements
- Strong Experience in
- Java 8 or higher, Spring Framework-Core/Boot/MVC, Hibernate/JPA, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring REST, Spring Integration with LDAP and OAuth
- Microservices Architecture and building REST APIs
- Junit and Test-Driven Development Approach
- RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
- using profiler tools (JProfiler/JMeter)
- Knowledge on
- UML and java Design patterns, Design Principles
- continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Asynchronous communication using Kafka, Rabbit MQ
- Nice to have
- Experience on Gateway and Authentication mechanism using OAuth and Spring Security
- cloud native applications/services on AWS/Azure
- knowledge on NoSQL database systems or big data storage solutions like Cassandra, Mongo DB
- Strong troubleshooting skills in different disparate technologies and environments
- Enthusiastic about different areas of work and exploring new technologies, mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies
- Quick learner to understand new products from Integration perspective
