Position Summary:
Responsible for the management and execution of entire mobile device refurbishment operations of SEA Mobile Production Center. This role will interface with major customers and end users to ensure customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for all repair operations activities and for the identification of areas for improvement for common occurrences.
Person in this role is responsible for ensuring on track to strategic direction, supporting strategy implementation, and performing project management oversight to meet or exceed customer expectations. Provides business analysis and expertise based recommendations ensuring that performance goals and deadlines comply with company goals and objectives. Also is responsible for partnering with business units and serving as internal consultant to drive development of operational improvements and mange continuous improvements. This position requires can do attitude with excellent communication skills, excellent relationship building capabilities, emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and drive.
Role and Responsibilities
Function as key liaison between Samsung and Carrier accounts, sales, 3rd party vendors and/or other business units to safeguard MPC business ambitions
Plan, evaluate, prioritize, control, coordinate and direct RB operations which includes but not limited to forecasting, planning, coordinating, following up, perform analysis, and managing operational activities to mitigate risks & escalations and ensure customers’ requirements are managed within our business goals and objectives
Effectively manage carrier/customer repair volume in the best interest of MPC business within contract terms
Conduct regular communication with customer(s) to understand and ensure their needs/requests are being met to their satisfaction
Work closely with Sales, Buffer, and SEV RB teams to coordinate timely production and delivery of deliverables to customer(s)
Closely manage WIP (Work in Progress) volume and repair process lead times and help resolve issues when needed
Receive Sales forecast to prepare necessary production capacity and parts
Review to-be received for repair list and set up system to enable receiving, repair and converting product color and carrier
Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies throughout the business
Identifies and shares potential operational improvements and recommends them to management
Engages key internal/external personnel and develops ongoing relationships to build consensus and gain key insights into performance and opportunities for the future
Identifies opportunities to help drive awareness and understanding to gain support across the organization
Involved in a broad range of activities such as inventory management, demand analysis, creating transition plan, managing stock levels and order fulfilment

Skills and Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of job related experience as preference and prior experience in telecommunications a plus.
Experience with MS Office including but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Access.
Experience conducting internal and third party audits required. Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical journals and procedures.
Must be able to speak in mathematical/statistical terms (normality, probability, complex numbers, and logarithms are commonly used as references).
Knowledge of Korean (speaking, reading, translating to English) considered a strong advantage.
Skilled at evaluating data from multiple angles to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.

The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
Work is generally performed in an office environment.
Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
