With women’s softball, volleyball, and lacrosse as part of the roster, Athletes Unlimited will build the next generation of both athletes and fans.
Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Financial Business Analyst to perform duties to support key business functions including financial reporting, inventory planning, forecasting, and budgeting. This role is full-time and will report to VP Finance and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial and business reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure transactions are reflected in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with the forecasting process
- Maintain the financial forecast models, including Pamp;L, cash flow, and supporting schedules. Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Support sales forecast and profitability analysis
- Assist with the preparation of Senior Management presentations (monthly business reviews, Board of Directors meetings)
- Develop and maintain key metric reporting and ad-hoc analyses
- Support the creation of the annual and multi-year strategic plan
- Identify and develop process efficiencies and automation to create standardized, efficient and repeatable processes
- Support demand forecasting amp; inventory planning processes as needed
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team regularly amp; provide input on business initiatives
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or other related field required, Masters in Business Administration preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience with financial modeling and analysis required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate and work effectively across departments
- Comfort with public speaking and presenting to large groups or senior management
- Previous experience in sports a plus
- Desire to work in a startup environment
