In the process, we empower our nation’s teachers to express their full potential by tutoring students and supporting their peers in the classroom.

The Role

As the first member of the School Success team, you’ll be an integral member of the founding team at TbT. You’ll be a player/coach who begins creating and executing processes for the successful launch of pilots and Summer Schools across the country. As we grow, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to build the team and lead our School Success efforts.

In this role, you’ll have 3 main goals : project implementation, customer retention, and customer growth.

In the first three months, you will:

  • Create scalable processes to ensure the successful launch of our pilots, including logistics among teachers, students, parents, TbT tutors and TbT staff.
  • Act as the project manager for all pilots
  • Build relationships with our key contacts at the school and/or district sites
  • Reflect on areas of improvement in ongoing pilots, and adapt as necessary

In your first year, you will:

  • Continually iterate and define what the School Success team looks like at TbT
  • Hire and manage a team of School Success managers
  • Identify upsell opportunities for successful pilots

Requirements

  • Experience in Customer Success, Account Management or Customer Implementation at an education company focused in the K-12 space
  • Experience working on multiple, complex projects simultaneously and can measure and report out on key metrics of success
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, gifted at asking clarifying questions, sets proper expectations internally and externally, and effectively advocates for the customer
  • High EQ, hustle, a can-do attitude, bias to action, ability to work effectively on a small team and wear many hats and intrinsic motivation to meet / surpass self-created goals
