This person will be involved in helping innovative healthcare startups, or Builds, come to life using the Olive Builds studio process, but also work alongside Olive and other industry partners. It’s an exciting time to be innovating in healthcare, and this position will play an important role in creating startups that not only change the healthcare landscape, but also contribute to the mission of Olive.


Responsibilities:

  • Along with the Head of Builds, continuously develop, improve and execute the Olive Builds studio process
  • Implement the Olive Builds startup studio process and assist with strategies, plans and procedures for each Build and Builder
  • Provide support to all Builders including administrative, financial, and resource allocations
  • Conduct regular meetings with Builders and staff to discuss operational updates, ideas and issues
  • Provide guidance to Builders in resolving operational issues and problems
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Ensure that Builds are executed within allotted budget and timelines

Requirements

  • Experience in founding a startup or operating a company at a high level is required.
  • Healthcare experience is desired.
  • Education and/or degree in Business Management or equivalent is desired but optional.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and skillset
  • Excellent leadership skills, business acumen and ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team
  • Excel at strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things; and be creative, a visionary, and manage innovation well
  • Be results-driven
  • Have a track record of successful financial management
  • Have superior decision-making skills
  • Must have the ability to delegate effectively
  • Must possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skill in negotiating and mediating conflict
