Position Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
**Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
Human Resource Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Assist in maintaining employee records
- Assists with the administration of employee benefits. Acts as a point of contact for employee benefits; provide support to addressing benefit questions.
- Coordinate on-boarding amp; off-boarding processes
- Provide first line response for general HR questions predominately focused on production facilities and provide employee relations support
- Participate in local recruitment activities such as job fairs and other recruitment events
- Assist with variety of Human Resource administration tasks and projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Human Resource Assistant Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience required
- 2 3 years Human Resource and/or exposure to manufacturing environment
- Competent level skills in Microsoft Office and Human Resource Systems
