Investment sectors include, but are not limited to: education, financial inclusion, health, employment, and justice. Kapor Capital has more than 100 companies in its portfolio, including LendUp, Genius Plaza, Pigeonly, Health Sherpa, and Honor.

We are looking for a Digital Content Fellow, to leverage our social media and digital channels to digitally promote Kapor Capital. As the Digital Content Fellow, you will drive the execution of our goals to increase visibility, engagement and create a larger digital footprint in the tech, diversity, and social justice ecosystem. Candidates should have a strong interest in learning about the venture capital industry and a passion for start-up technology companies. This position reports to the Senior Director of Portfolio Growth Marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong belief in Kapor Capital’s mission to use technology to close gaps of access and opportunity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to closing gaps of access, opportunity, or outcomes for low-income communities of underrepresented ethnic and racial minorities.
  • At least 2 years of full-time, post-undergraduate social media and graphic design experience, as well as a demonstrated track record of building organizational brands, ideally in the tech sector.
  • Desire to pursue a career in venture capital
  • High level of confidentiality and strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience with Photoshop or similar graphic design software

  • Candidates with knowledge of the world of technology startups as a founder, early-stage employee, or another full-time role
