As a member of our Administrative Team, you will:
  • Aid in the coordination of production and administrative support functions while maintaining your own firm-related responsibilities
  • Be empowered to work directly with external clients as well as internal team members
  • Lead with a focus on client service and work as a collaborative member of the team


Responsibilities
  • Supports the Tax Department by:
    • Collaborates with management to support production (populating budget hours and due dates, assigning tax jobs, coordinating with other departments for staff availability, generating production reports, and setting up new tax workflows).
    • Reviews reports and address any discrepancies needed.
    • Processes tax extensions, tax returns, and e-filing.
    • Renewing and monitoring all professional staff personal tax identification numbers.
    • Monitors and maintains IRS administration and compliance.
    • Updates and maintains meeting agendas.
  • Supports Management by:
    • Serves as a backup on phones and front desk as needed.
    • Copies, scans, and replaces toner cartridges as needed.
    • Assists with meetings set-up and clean-up.
    • Researches prospective clients.
    • Acts as a champion for administrative software and processes.
    • Completes special projects.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional services work environment. Prior experience with a CPA firm a plus.
  • Associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Able to type 40 wpm.
  • Experience in Microsoft products and Docusign. Experience in tax software preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple, changing priorities with efficiency while remaining organized.
  • Leads with a professional and courteous demeanor with client service as a core focus.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Enjoys collaboration and working within a team orientated environment.
