Job Description
Impactual LLC is a social impact consulting firm. We help causes, philanthropists and brands address some of the most pressing political and social challenges. Our clients include individual and institutional philanthropists, Fortune 500 companies, and high-impact nonprofits.
Impactual seeks an enthusiastic, self-starter that has a passion for politics, pop culture, and making a difference to join our team as a program intern. At Impactual, everyone plays a role in accelerating impact. In this position you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative and bold initiatives tackling some of the biggest social issues of today. As an intern you will have the opportunity to support our client project team across a broad portfolio of social impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administrative needs of across a small portfolio of client projects;
- Assist in the drafting, revising, and formatting of client pitch decks, reports, presentations, memos and correspondence and other deliverables for clients;
- Assist in the tracking of political, electoral, legislative, and cultural updates in key states and nationally to support client priorities;
- Schedule and attend client meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up is taken;
- Ensure work developed meets Impactual’s quality control standards including proper grammar, proper formatting, integrity, and originality.
Dates and Location: This is a 30-35 hour per week internship program and will be based remotely. The position will last ~10 weeks, with a target range of June 1 - August 13, 2021. Start and end dates can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Requirements
- An interest in learning the current political landscape;
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire to communicate proactively regarding projects;
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
- Flexibility to work on a variety of projects in a short timeline;
- Exceptional writing and editing skills;
- Ability to work with people of different backgrounds and create an environment that drives positive social change.
Benefits
Compensation and Benefits: This position will be compensated with a $5,000 stipend for the full program. Interns are not eligible for benefits. Candidates who are applying through a school-based program may not be eligible for stipend.
