As a member of a fulfillment center team, you will be responsible for supervising a team, along with managing processes, resources and the operational overview within the fulfillment center (operations and / or administrative).

Key Objectives:

    • Responsible for planning of labor against workload
    • Directly motivating and coaching of team leaders and fulfillment center employees
    • Communication of management information via department meetings
    • Responsible for organizing personnel and optimizing process and efficiency
    • Coordination with other operational departments
    • Employee culture, engagement and satisfaction
    • Ensuring a quality customer/consumer experience via quality/optimization of operational and administrative process

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing/food processing environment ideally with some previous supervisory experience
  • Must be able to start early morning hours as start times vary
  • Must be work a flexible schedule / cover various shifts that include early mornings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and some holidays
  • Comfortable and able to work overtime based on business needs
  • Able to speak, write, read and interpret information in English
  • Must be accurate and thorough while following policies and procedures
  • Must be comfortable in cold warehouse/production environment
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates, as well as work with management to hold associates accountable for attendance, productivity accuracy, and completion of their work
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide array of fulfillment center personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
  • Able to work independently and use critical thinking to solve problems and find solutions as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce Staging amp; Rotation
  • Ensures produce is received into one of the designated areas - for the current week or for the future week, according to the Purchase Order.
  • Ensures produce pallets are accurately labeled with the week number.
  • Pulls and stages produce properly for the production lines in the current week area.
  • Ensures produce is taken to the production lines from the current week area only.
  • Prevents use of products not allocated for the given week.
  • Prevents use of products by the production line it was not allocated for.
  • Ensures and enforces FIFO.
  • Counts and reports stock of carried-over produce.
  • Accounts for carried overproduce rejected by FSQA.
  • Rotates carried overproduce, preserving week number information.
  • Reports use of produce against allocation for the week or for the production line.
  • Moves leftover produce back to the current week area, to the future week area or to the waste staging area accordingly.
  • Assists production lines with identifying produce allocated for
