JOB DESCRIPTION:
RumbleOn is seeking an Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with leadership qualities who is career driven and wants a place where they can make their mark! If you are a talented and hands on individual who can develop and execute exploratory manual and automated tests to ensure product quality, read on! The RumbleOn QA Lead responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).
The QA Lead plays an important part in our company’s product development process. They are responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets company needs, while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of the RumbleOn Quality Assurance Lead:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful Feedback.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute manual testing schemas and automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Cultivate and coach the new and growing QA pod in our tech department.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Software QA Engineer
- People Coaching and Development Skills- A desire to help and grow your teammates as the lead
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Manual testing, Regression Testing, and Mobile Testing. This is mainly a manual testing position so manual experience is required to be considered.
- Minimum of 2+ years in Automation testing as we do this type of testing as well, however, it is not our main testing method.
- Exposure with Selenium in Java
- Ability to test web services and APIs via postman and misc. SQL commands.
- Strong hands on experience with performance testing tools
- Experience on any of the monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience in testing mobile applications.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process with rapid deployment and iterative deployment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- EDUCATION- Bachelor's Degree in CS, CIS, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
