Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician will report to the Manager of Pilot Fabrication and be responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products. Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Maintains required records of production and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, eager to learn new things, and collaborate with others to solve problems. As part a small growing company, you must be highly effective and driven to meet objectives. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, have prior hands-on technical experience, take pride in the quality of their work, and work well in a fast-paced environment.


As a Manufacturing Technician you will.
  • Operate production equipment to produce medical devices and drug formulation
  • Maintain accurate and clear documentation records
  • Review, follow, and provide feedback on standard operating procedures
  • Inspect assembly equipment regularly and report issues to management
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning

Requirements

You should have.
  • Associates degree
  • Above-average fine manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision handling of delicate miniature parts in a clean room environment
  • Capable of working in a controlled environment glove box, following all safety and cleanliness requirements
  • Capable of working independently to a production schedule
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods of time and perform hand intensive repetitive assembly of products as part of a fast-paced production team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires 1-3 years of related experience or a 4 year science degree with strong lab experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience working in a GMP regulated environment
  • Pharma or biotech industry experience
  • Experience handling small parts
