We’re looking for a passionate, collaborative, and innovative thinker/doer to help us revolutionize the way providers and life science companies connect, to improve patient care. This vital position will take ownership of marketing for our rapidly growing life sciences vertical as we aim to become an increasingly important strategic partner to the largest life sciences companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to redefine the brand’s positioning within the life sciences industry and launch numerous new product and service lines that will continue to fuel our rapid growth. Working with the marketing, enterprise and product teams, you will uncover new customer insights that will inform product roadmaps and messaging. We are seeking a master product marketer with outstanding narrative development skills who has built brands and launched products for sales, marketing and brand teams within the life sciences industry.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading marketing for our life sciences (enterprise) vertical
  • Defining RxVantage life sciences vertical positioning and establishing company as an essential partner to leading Pharma/Biotech brand and commercial teams
  • Leading full life cycle launches of new products and services for the life sciences vertical, including communication strategy, sales enablement, omni-channel activation and budget
  • Leading customer research to uncover insights and help shape current and future enterprise product roadmap initiatives and messaging (persona ownership)
  • Educating sales, product management, and marketing team about competitive landscape and competitor offerings
  • Developing account-based marketing playbooks and tools to support the revenue goals of the sales and account management teams
  • Partnering with the enterprise team to develop, nurture and drive success of key third party business partnerships that support the overall company objectives
  • Define life sciences marketing team needs, roles and responsibilities and work to recruit A-players to drive toward company objectives
  • Defining appropriate life sciences vertical brand and product KPIs and taking ownership of measurement
  • Reporting to the chief marketing officer

Requirements

What you should have:
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, specifically marketing technology to life science companies is strongly desired; you know these personas and the landscape
  • 4+ years experience managing other marketing team members and external vendors (marketing/PR agencies)
  • Ability to assemble and interpret data, create summaries, and deliver actionable business insights; experience using data and analytics to tell a story around offerings
  • Expert-level product positioning and narrative development skills. You should be able to point to numerous successful launches (bonus for category development experience)
  • Loads of empathy that you draw upon to better understand customers and lead teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Adept at matrix/influence management; eager to collaboratively interact with and align stakeholders across the company
  • A sense of humor and inclusive leadership style
  • Experience attracting, leading and developing A-players
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and rapidly changing priorities
