Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in a manner that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations. Conduct work in a professionally and efficiently in order to contribute to the reputation, growth, and profit of Lift Power Incorporated. Retain the ability to work on multiple primary duties at any given time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical, fuel, hydraulic, and propane systems on forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Perform general repairs on forklifts and other warehouse equipment as scheduled
- Perform scheduled maintenance on customer equipment and rental fleet equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate the correct service and parts needed to repair equipment to the Service Department and any unexpected repair delays to the Shop Service Supervisor
- Operate and test all forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Accurately document each shop job in detail
- Complete daily timecards and provide them to the Shop Service Supervisor
- Observe company safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Firm knowledge of forklift repairs
- Ability to complete assigned repairs with minimal supervision
