What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an eager, data-informed product marketer to lead BuildingLink’s go-to-market efforts for new product launches, as well as to revisit the pricing, packaging, and positioning of our existing suite of products. As our first product marketer, you will have the unique opportunity to establish a product marketing practice from scratch within an established organization. You will formalize our understanding of our market, our buyers, our products, and how we differentiate. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive our products and our company forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Owning go-to-market strategy and execution across product rollouts, deftly synthesizing inputs and capabilities from product, marketing, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders to produce effective plans.
- Developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates BuildingLink’s products and services in the market; redesign the pricing, packaging, and positioning for BuildingLink’s existing product suite and own the same for all new products we release.
- Acting as the expert on BuildingLink’s target market and customers, how they buy, and their decision criteria; be the expert on our competitors in the market and how to sell against them.
- Working closely with our marketing creatives to translate go-to-market plans into sales support and enablement materials, including website content, sales decks, datasheets, and competitive cheat sheets.
- Leading Sales training to optimize for Sales’ confidence in their ability to sell and to standardize how our products are portrayed in the field.
- Collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders, speaking directly to customers and prospects to understand their needs and how BuildingLink meets them.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, product management or similar field in a B2B or B2B2C SaaS company.
- Strong background in pricing, packaging, positioning, and go to market.
- Comprehensive understanding of a fully developed, customer-centric marketing ecosystem and tech stack.
- Analytical approach with a working sense of Salesforce and Google Analytics, and using these platforms to report on critical metrics to track performance and identify trends.
- Experience orchestrating the execution of marketing campaigns, including the set-up of marketing analytics, digital ads, and email campaigns is a major plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated and results-driven self-starter, operating with a sense of urgency and bias to action.
