St. Catherine's School is an Episcopal day school in Richmond, Virginia, founded in 1890 and enrolling 982 girls age 3 through grade 12. Located on a 16-acre campus in the western part of the city, St. Catherine's Core Values include pursuing academic excellence, developing character, nurturing spiritual growth, celebrating individuals, and building community. The athletic program includes 40+ teams in 14 sports with approximately 70% of students in grades 7-12 participating.
We are looking for experienced coaches who are interested in long-term commitments to join very established programs.
We are seeking candidates who:
Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Have proven head coaching experience and a record of success
Understand the mission of the School
Have the ability to manage large groups of people, including a large assistant staff
Have exceptional multi-tasking skills
Have experience including and working with very involved parents
Set a tone of professionalism among coaches, athletes and parents
Are interested in the long-term building of program
Can help attract and retain strong assistant coaches
