Job Description

Marketing Specialist manage marketing projects for national builders, multi-family and property management segments that service our customer requirements, are aligned with our brand strategies and comply with our process and budgets. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, other Armstrong Flooring business teams, and outside vendors.

Location: 2500 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17604 temporarily 100% remote due to COVID

Marketing Specialist Salary: $49,000 - $76,000, based on experience (Gr. 7/8/9)

How you’ll contribute to the team:

  • Create and execute Strategic Marketing Briefs for assigned projects:
    • Create and manage launch schedule for project deliverables
    • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative team, Samples team and others to ensure that project deadlines and customer expectations are met
    • Gather, consolidate and edit content for all marketing materials
  • Create and manage the budget for assigned projects
    • Process purchase orders, invoices and goods receipts
    • Assist in building annual budgets, monthly review of SGamp;A expense and forecasting
    • Collaborate with Channel Manager and Sales team on revised forecasts
  • Activate strategic communication plans in support of assigned projects to defined target audiences across paid, owned, earned media (website, email, social, public relations, advertising, etc.)
  • Manage the inventory, review, updates, production and obsolescence of marketing materials
    • Coordinate the ordering, shipping and inventory management of display, sample, selling tools collateral and promotional items
    • Review inventory replenishment requests and coordinate replenishment
    • Identify and coordinate the removal of obsolete items as necessary
  • Initiate and manage process improvement projects for marketing functions Manage and execute events (such as tradeshows, customer visits, special events, etc.

Requirements

  • Marketing degree or related field; Bachelor's
  • 1+ years in a marketing role or related experience
