As one of the members of the Revenue Operations team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our growing go-to-market organization and building out the marketing systems and technical processes to scale us to the next level. Every day will bring new challenges and require cross-functional collaboration to maintain and enhance our marketing automation platform (Pardot) and processes. Expect to be challenged in this role as you’ll be identifying process improvements in all aspects of marketing operations within Unbabel and architecting them for the first time.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe’re looking for someone who has deep experience with marketing automation (ideally Pardot) and is familiar with a broad spectrum of go-to-market metrics, processes, and tools. You should understand the enterprise sales process, digital marketing metrics, and how to translate Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs from idea to execution.
You will be a key link between our marketing team, sales team, and operations team, so while this role has a large technical component, being successful will require your ability to collaborate, balance priorities, and bring different groups together.We are primarily focused on hiring in San Francisco, New York City, Pittsburgh, London, or Berlin but will make exceptions in the case of exceptional talent based in other remote locations.THE SKILL SET
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, ideally in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Extensive experience setting up and running marketing automation software, and a working knowledge of how to integrate those systems with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with ABM programs, multi-touch attribution, lead scoring, data governance, and the common marketing tech stack tools (such as Google Analytics, Terminus, Clearbit, Sendoso, Bizible, Groove, Optimizely, etc).
  • Ability to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that balance business needs and system maintainability.
  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively when creating reports or dashboards.
  • Passionate about marketing operations strategy and staying current with industry trends.
  • Interest in the AI and CX tech space, you will become a subject matter expert quickly and continue to deepen your product and industry knowledge over time.
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL
  • Onboard and meet the Revenue Operations team and learn about our current set of projects.
  • Meet our Marketing and Sales teams, to understand their current and future needs from Salesforce.Learn the suite of Unbabel products; and how our customers use them to solve their customer experience problems.
  • Become familiar with our instances of Pardot and Salesforce and how our marketing data is structured.
  • Learn about the systems and technology behind our lead capture process and identify and identify ways we can resolve any gaps.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL
  • Manage and optimize our marketing automation platform (Pardot), including data governance, organization, integrations with other sales and marketing tools, workflows, and team adoption.
  • Build forms, emails, lead scoring, and automation for growth marketing programs in Pardot; support in the testing, iteration, and measurement of the efficacy of these programs.
  • Manage the secondary tools in our growth marketing tech stack, including evaluation, improvement, implementation, and maintenance of Clearbit, Groove, and SEN Sendoso.
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL
  • Partner with the marketing team to support Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs that span multiple content channels and engagement platforms.
  • Develop a campaign attribution model and framework for us to evaluate the effectiveness of Unbabel’s marketing programs.
  • Implement a strategy for data governance to ensure data cleanliness and enrichment. Manage and monitor contact data quality within the marketing and sales databases.
WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL
  • Work with CMO and Head of Revenue Operations to support annual planning exercises and build marketing ops roadmap and vision for the next year.
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
