Job Description

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in TestII to develop and enhance our automated test frameworks and test plans for the software systems that automate the fulfillment for on-line grocery. The ideal candidate would have solid experience writing automated tests using an Object-Oriented language such as Python or Java.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of Python-based tests and testing libraries through continuous integration for value added feedback.
- Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.
- Develop automated performance test suites.
- Work with cross functional and internal partner teams in an agile environment.
- Estimate own testing tasks and work productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 2+ years’ experience as either a Software Development Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role.
- Must have a solid understanding and ability to develop code in Python.
- Strong experience in API testing and hands-on experience with Linux required.
- Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems and cloud technologies a must.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems in large systems.
- Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Python with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium or Robot Framework is preferred.
- Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation.
