Our client is a venture-backed startup based out of NYC working within the High-Performance Computing vertical. Their goal is to enable all organizations to leverage the power of Big Compute and believe that their customer base should focus on the science behind their applications not on the computing environment.
Environment:
Our client runs a High-Performance Computing Platform (HPC) on AWS and other cloud providers with many additional open-source technologies and middleware. Their team uses a mix of Linux and some Windows. This means supporting and testing their full stack in a public cloud environment along with distributed schedulers, logging solutions, metrics, storage archiving, and optimization of HPC application cost/performance.
Position:
Our client is looking for a strong Product Manager who will be committed and aligned with the company’s growth plan and to shape the roadmap by defining and leading key initiatives that deliver value to their networking community.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product roadmap along with prioritizing features and product deliverables
- Work closely with the Development team to ensure that products on the Platform are delivered on time and in line with market demands
- Work with the company's customers and partners to identify market opportunities and new feature and feed information back into the product development process
- Synthesize and inform the product vision and strategy across the entire organization
- Drive end to end product development to launch comprehensive products that deliver great customer experiences.
- Proactively communicate product plans and benefits both internally and externally
- Be the subject matter expert on our networking products and voice of our customers
- Report directly to the COO and be a key contributor to the company's Product Management Organization
Skills amp; Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience in a product line
- Analytic-minded and data-oriented expert efficiently making cases with the data at-hand
- Experience writing product specifications, user stories and prioritizing competing projects to deliver optimum company results
- Proven track record in planning, developing, and shipping products successfully by interfacing and collaborating daily with technical teams
- Experienced with evaluating technical tradeoffs in order to inform the sequence of what features to prioritize
