ICAST is the nation’s premier service provider to apartment communities that serve low-to-moderate income (LMI) residents. We motivate people to act, leading to results that foster local economic development, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in underserved communities. By 2025, we aim to serve 100,000 LMI households annually, reduce their utility costs by $270 Million and Carbon emission by 1.5 Million tons, create 2,000 sustainable jobs and invest over $100 Million in local communities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting to build a pipeline of contacts within the Senior and Student Housing market
  • Networking with professionals involved with or connected to the Senior and Student Housing industry
  • Walking senior and student housing properties and conducting site assessments for energy upgrades
  • Working with ICAST’s engineers to perform energy audits and developing Scopes of Work for green upgrades to senior and student housing properties
  • Closing contracts with new and existing customers
  • Updating Salesforce to record sales activity
  • Reporting on: pipeline, conversion rates, weekly, and monthly performance metrics

Requirements

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Al least 3 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas (more is better): (1) senior housing, (2) student housing, (3) clean energy sales, (4) retrofit construction sales;
  • Ability to travel nationally for client meetings and site assessments (up to 33% travel)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Microgrid, HVAC, Solar, Lighting or Energy Storage sales experience
  • Knowledge of utility rebate programs and incentives
