THE JOB:
As the Business Development Manager forRepairSmith, you will be responsible for growing the automotive retail vertical. You will bring your sales and automotive experience to be part of a dynamic team of individuals building out Mobile Repair for dealership accounts. You will be accountable for building out both the number of accounts and overall repair orders to grow revenue in this vertical. You will be expected to make cold calls and take inbound calls from dealerships to build relationships and capture the business, including signing up new dealerships and generating new repair orders from existing dealerships. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the business and marketing tactics and strategy to make this a significant long-term vertical forRepairSmith.WE WILL DEPEND ON THIS PERSON TO:
  • Develop and execute a business plan and sales strategy with the SVP, Strategic Partnerships for the vertical that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of strong relationships with Dealers.
  • Interface directly with external dealer personnel including Dealer Principals and General Managers.
  • Work across theRepairSmithorganization including Dispatch, Service Advisors, and Regional GMs to provide timely and accurateRepairSmithservices to Dealer customers, while maintaining profit margins.
  • Act as liaison between Dealers andRepairSmithOperations where orders are scheduled, created, fulfilled, and billed according to expected Service Levels.
  • Monitor ongoing dealer performance such as efficiency ratios, delinquency, losses, profitability, etc.
  • Training and consulting of Dealership management to ensure a thorough understanding of theRepairSmith’sprograms, pricing, policies and procedures.
  • Able to identify and effectively communicate the need for change.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive.
  • Knowledge of the market and existing relationships with dealerships.
  • Demonstrated success working with independent dealerships and dealer franchises in the areas of Business Development.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
  • BA/BS Degree required.
