Job Description

Description

Hello prospective future team member! We’re excited that you’re reading this and considering avad3 for the next step in your career.

avad3 is nine years old and located in Northwest Arkansas, which boasts a thriving economy of commerce, culture and education, all situated in the stunning natural setting of the Ozarks. We are a team that is passionate about production. The avad in avad3 comes from the Hebrew word for serve and we are here to serve one another.

From our founding, we have been serving organizations through production. In the years leading up to the pandemic, our primary business had grown to traveling nationally supporting events and conferences. During the pandemic, our clients needed us to pivot all resources towards virtual. Now that in-person events have started planning, we need to grow our in-person event team. That’s why we’re adding a new team member to our team.

We’re looking for someone who can be a production tech on-site for our event and video production crews. This is a seat for audio techs, video directors and/or lighting designers to be a part of an excitingly diverse portfolio of projects. Our schedule continues to grow with events and video shoots here in Northwest Arkansas as well as some projects traveling for a few days across the country. As an experienced production tech, you’ll confidently fill seats on crews in roles you’re competent in, ultimately serving your crew mates and helping our clients on their biggest days of the year.

We are looking for someone who has on-site production crew experience running audio, video or lighting for event production or video production. Someone strong in a chosen department, but a team player across departments.

On our largest shows and shoots of the year, large crew sizes allow each of us to serve in specialized roles within a department. However, smaller shows put our techs in broader roles. Perhaps you’ve been camera 5 on a large show, but also served as the only person in the tech booth covering multiple bases for a lower-budget need. Maybe on large shoots you’re best at Gimbals, but if needed you can be a one-man-band. One of our greatest cross-trained success stories of all time was a girl who came in a drone pilot, but left a strong audio tech. The balance of specialization and cross-training is ever present as the key to a successful career not just at avad3, but in the production industry as a whole. avad3 is a beautiful playground with which to continue your growth as paid-learning being a part of a healthy team.

At avad3 we have a vision of helping organizations capture and amplify the good they are doing. We believe no organization, regardless of budget, should be without quality production. We work hard to make our business scalable, from tiny local events to large, national, streamed, multi-day conferences ranging from coast to coast. Our focus is on helping them communicate, and our mission focuses that through what we do best: production. We are making a difference by helping incredible organizations share what they are up to, and inspiring others to join-in on the good. As a production tech, you are the boots on the ground, allowing us to do our craft of production to suit our client's needs.
