Job Description

We are looking for an energetic Sales Administrator with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment. The position is administrative heavy with repetitive tasks with many nuances tailored to customer preferences. Experience working with General Contractors, Owner/Developers, Architects, and Homebuilders in the Denver Metro area is a plus. The person selected must establish and maintain relationships with customers from senior purchasing directors to field superintendents. Must be able to work and manage multiple Sales Leaders’ requests to achieve company goals.

  • All employees are required to work safely and report any injury immediately
  • Work with multiple sales leaders and overall sales team to achieve revenue and growth goals
  • Work with Sales Leaders in fast-paced environment; manage priorities that change on a daily basis
  • Keep up to date individual project lists of all pending items (short term amp; long term) with progress reports
  • Knowledge of blueprints, ability to download plans, and perform plan comparisons
  • Work with estimating team to prepare and ensure accuracy of bids
  • Crosstrain with estimating act as backup as needed
  • Special projects/long term projects- streamlining amp; improvement
  • Research competition, architects, GC’s, ownership groups, and projects
  • Organize and assist our sales team in daily tasks and customer interaction
  • Deliver strong performance based on their own projects and tasks
  • Working schedules for the team
  • Organizing customer appointments
  • Act as the first line of contact between internal customers and external customers
  • Manage administrative details for the sales team including assisting with bid approval and contract evaluation
  • Organizing appointments for the sales team and assist with calendaring appointment with all sales associates within the department
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors, outside customers, or other groups
  • Tracking expense items within the sales department
  • Effectively communicate in-person, via phone and written correspondence
  • Dependable and able to follow-up and execute against multiple priorities (moved up on the list)
  • Work well independently and within a team environment to communicate effectively to overcome obstacles and achieve goals
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of sales administrative experience
  • Experience in the construction industry and/or building materials preferred
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, managers and customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel heavy position)
  • Ability to lead by example, following and enforcing rules and regulations set by company
  • Ability to lead by example and train employees of best practices
  • Ability to produce quality work
  • Ability to work during evenings, weekends, or irregular hours will be required based on schedule
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to provide legal right to work in the U.S. as BBAC participates in E-Verify
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Basic mathematical skills
