Coupar Consulting is assisting with hiring a Senior Project Manager to join the team at Kendall Wilkinson Designs.

Job Description Senior Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Working closely with the Principals and the Design Director, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for projectrelated activities outside of design development. This position reports directly to Principal (s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop project timelines, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations.

Develop project schedules and budgets and update the manpower accordingly. Follow up on all project schedules.

Oversee merchandise purchasing and expediting, and merchandise coordination; receiving, inspections, and installations.

Responsible where applicable for project related communications with the client, and design and construction teams.

Review employee timesheets and check against budget/timeline.

Help designers maintain their workload through task list management and setting of priorities.

Develop as necessary, review, redline, and maintain project

drawings/documentation.

Provide design input or help as needed; final set of eyes on design.

Attend client/project meetings as necessary and review meeting notes prior to issuing.

Ensure that interior design drawings are properly created and maintained by design team.

Oversee / manage issues with the design team, contractors, vendors and clients. Work with the design team to help them identify and document problems / conflicts and determine solutions.

Oversee all stages of product development to ensure accurate production.

Manage the process to contain all projectrelated information in paper filing systems, electronic folders, and Studio IT MS/TL/MW.

Oversee timely sending and receipt of proposals, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for potential and ongoing projects TL/MW/Accounting.

Manage process to ensure all project information remains uptodate in Studio Designer TL/MW.

Manage proposal production and processing and review content when necessary TL/MW.

This position reports directly to Principals

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

4year degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

At least ten years of experience in some combination of business development/sales and project management for highend residential design, including construction and renovation projects.

Experience successfully managing multiple design teams.

Experience successfully managing projects with specified budgets and timelines. Experience and comfort working in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Must be a highly dedicated, motivated professional who is hungry for driving great results.

Comprehensive view of the Kendall Wilkinson Design business from new client acquisition to the implementation of projects.

Outstanding ability to manage people.

Creative problem solving, organizational, and time management skills. Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.

Understanding of AutoCAD, and/or other design programs.

Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn Studio IT.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple highend residential interior design projects simultaneously.

Ability to interact with peers, management, and other staff in a professional manner.

Ability to mentor, lead and proactively direct teams.

Selfdriven and independent yet team oriented and enjoyable to be with.

High degree and willingness to take ownership with a demonstrated orientation of results.

Willingness to observe company policies, procedures, and the instructions of the Principal and management.
