Requirements

What we require:

  • 2 years experience working in a HR Department as a HR Coordinator or HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree, HR, Business or related majors preferred
  • Experience arranging and conducting new hire orientations
  • Experience explaining new hire paperwork to new hires, checking new hire paperwork for completeness and entering the information into an HRIS database
  • Experience working with new hires to complete I-9’s and verifying employee identification. Experience with E-Verify preferred.
  • Experience conducting educational and criminal background checks
  • Entering new hire benefit selections into HR benefit module. Ability to explain benefits such as Health Savings Account, Flexible Saving Accounts and Commuter Benefits to new hires preferred

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Handling on-boarding activities and working smoothly with department management to transition new hires into their departments
  • Assisting with off-boarding activities including conducting exit interviews and assisting with turn-over trend analysis
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly HR compliance audits
  • Assist in auditing employee trainings to verify employees have completed their annual CyberSecurity and Harassment Trainings
  • Assisting with semi-annual performance appraisals; includes working with department management to update direct supervisors, creating Google Doc spreadsheets that contain staff rosters
  • Assist with entering payrate changes for promotions and merit increases
  • Help maintain company organizational chart
  • Assist with Benefits Open Enrollment. Helping to verify all employees have responded, all benefit changes are updated in ADP WorkforceNow accurately and timely
  • Assigning client project codes to employees Time and Attendance profile in T-Sheets
  • Assist with employee engagement activities
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
