For most people, cars are one of the most expensive assets they own and families on average spend 20% of their income on car expenses, making this a massive market.

About the role:
We are looking for a highly ambitious and diligent individual with an exceptional work ethic to join us as a Senior Accounting Analyst. We're in hyper-growth mode and have aggressive goals to scale our team and our product. This role will be critical in helping scale our company and will span nearly all of the company’s activities. This position will report to the Head of Finance and partner with team leaders and executive management team to scale the company’s accounting and finance operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end closing activities, including expense accruals, journal entries, preparation of balance sheet accounting reconciliations, and closing and reconciling key accounts, while working collaboratively with external book-keeping firm and controller
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Support the annual audit and other compliance requirements with the Company's external auditors
- Manage partner payments, commission payments and other relevant cash flows
- Monitoring, enforcing, and when appropriate, establishing policies and procedures necessary for mitigating risk, enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with US GAAP
- Conduct accounting research and summarize results accurately and independently
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a high growth environment
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
- A CPA license required
- Experience in ERP system implementation and integrations (a plus)
- Experience in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls (a plus)
