HR Business Partner

LRN’s People amp; Culture team is looking for a results-oriented, strategic, international HR Business Partner to support the organization in achieving its business objectives by optimizing talent. This role reports to the Chief HR Officer, focusing on key initiatives and projects in areas such as organizational design, employee relations, culture, and leadership development, as well as facilitating the Principled Performance Review and talent management processes.   • Work cross-functionally to establish or refine processes and practices to meet the needs of our growing company, consistent with our values and Leadership Framework while driving business results.
  • Serve as an expert resource on international HR matters primarily focused on Ireland/EU.
  • Design and implement processes and practices in talent management, performance management, employee engagement, interpersonal and team dynamics, talent acquisition, and learning and development.
  • Provide best practices to the HR team on processes and practices listed above.
  • Lead organizational design initiatives that align individuals and teams with our segment strategy and business priorities.
  • Support the organization through change management with strong communication skills and the ability to connect-the-dots by having a deep understanding of our business priorities, products, and challenges.
  • Serve as a coach/advisor helping leaders navigate through change and align talent with business strategies.
  • Lead the organization through merger/acquisition transactions helping employees on-board and assimilate during their first year at LRN.
  • Focus on Leadership Development cross-functionally who are capable of taking the Company to its next phases of growth, ensuring they embody the culture and can scale their organizations.
  • Guide resolution on complex employee relations matters swiftly and effectively, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Actively support LRN’s diversity and inclusion strategy alongside the Chief People Officer, ensuring LRN is an equitable, inclusive Company where everyone can bring their best selves to work.
  • Help drive and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion practices into all that we do.
  • Become an ambassador of LRN’s culture, values, and behaviors.

Requirements

  • International (primarily Ireland/EU) HR experience
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and openness amongst colleagues and clients together with a reputation for high personal integrity.
  • Experience building and scaling talents management, performance management, recruiting, and learning and development. Knows what good looks like.
  • Deep business acumen and a curiosity to learn about the Eamp;C space and leverage existing SaaS knowledge.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, making both strategic and tactical decisions to navigate sensitive or confidential issues. Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Effective communicator, confident presenting to large groups, fellow leaders, and teammates of all levels.
  • The ability to work and connect with a variety of personalities on cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and enjoys taking initiative. High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and change.
  • A highly motivated, energizing attitude that inspires others to seek higher levels of performance.
  • 10+ years of progressive strategic experience in Human Resources.
  • An HR degree or equivalent experience and a demonstrated understanding of US and international HR practices, policies, and laws.
