Forbes Shopping is seeking an experienced editor to assist the team while the Forbes Shopping editor is on maternity leave. This is a temporary, part-time senior editorial job that will run from around June 1 through the end of 2021 (7+ months).
The temporary senior editor will be responsible for assigning and editing Forbes Shopping content across all categories, particularly in the lifestyle space (home and kitchen, outdoor gear, parenting gear, fashion, wellness, and gift guides). Content formats may include product guides, roundups, retailer guides, news, reviews, deal spotlights, 'how-tos' and product odes. You will work closely with the updates editor to optimize evergreen content, and will work with our deals editor to assign or top edit sales/deals coverage. As an experienced editorial leader, part of your responsibilities will be mentoring junior staff writers and editors (working closely with writers on line edits; providing top edits for junior editors; providing strategy advice during team story ideation). This role will report to the Forbes Shopping Deputy Editor.
This is a part-time, remote role with a 25 hour per week / 7 month commitment
