Eligo Energy Texas, LLC is a business unit and subsidiary of Eligo Energy and offers competitive electricity supply to businesses and consumers in the State of Texas, and intends to primarily market to sub-prime and near-prime customers who purchase their electricity using pre-paid electricity plans
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the TexasStrategy and OperationsSenior Manager (Tx Samp;O) will lead all aspects of Eligo Energy’s Texas Business including operations, technology, marketing, sales and business development. This position will help guide the growth and success of the Texas Subsidiary and the individual will lead a growing team of individuals dedicated to success of the company. Additionally, the individual will work with and influence business leaders within Eligo Energy to provide technology, analytics, financial and legal regulatory support to the Eligo Texas business unit. This highly capable individual will work closely with both dedicated Eligo Texas employees as well as working very closely with Eligo’s CIO, Chief Legal Officer, analytics groups, Controller, COO and CEO.
The position is a unique opportunity to drive a young and growing organization, and provide a foundational leadership role for an entire business unit. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, manage and improve all operational processes
Coordinate with and Influence Eligo functional leaders to obtain support as needed
Grow the business from current state (a few thousand customers and essentially break-even) into a fully functional business unit with revenues and a pathway to EBITDA profitability
Launch the company’s prepaid product offering and develop and execute various go-to-market strategies to grow the business
Assist in business planning and activities including:
Oversee the marketing and sales functions within the company
Assist in the hiring and managing all business unit dedicated employees
Primary point of contact to interface with Eligo employees at all levels
Manage ongoing relationships with marketing partners and other vendors
Assist with Business Development Efforts
Work with the Eligo COO and Controller to ensure the business unit:
Work with the Chief Legal Officer to ensure that all regulatory and compliance functions are being addressed in a timely and proactive manner
Develop and improve the business unit’s customers service department
Business unit strategy and expansion plans
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Strong track record of operational excellence
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance concepts
Proven leadership experience
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
2-6+ years of work experience
Experience in business development within a b2b environment a plus
Past energy experience is a plus, but not required
Working knowledge of finance, accounting, marketing, sales and strategic planning
Advanced and Deep Excel skills
Proficiency with SQL is a plus
Ability to interface with technical personnel
Working knowledge of HR requirements and HR best practices
