Job Description

Treau’s mission is to cool the world by transforming every home to be more comfortable and healthy for the people who inhabit it - without compromising the environment. We are working towards decarbonizing buildings, starting with how they are heated and cooled. Treau’s launch product is a direct-to-consumer high-efficiency and low-carbon cooling and heating system designed for residential use.

We are looking for a Beta Program Manager to support the Head of Product with our first product roll out from beta testing to full product launch. This role has the potential to evolve into a strategic product/customer specialist role upon successful launch of the product. You will be a champion for both the product and the customer, and lay the foundation for a world class product purchase and fulfilment experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, and scale the beta program for our first hardware product.
  • Recruit and screen beta participants, organize onboarding, and collect regular customer feedback through user interviews and surveys.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and create a short feedback loop between users and product / engineering team, while delivering key insights in an effective manner.
  • Diagnose product pain points, and conduct basic data analysis to identify the most important features and processes that need to be addressed.
  • Coordinate shipping, delivery and returns of the product to beta testers, and overcome logistical hurdles as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively in a technical and non-technical way with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lay the groundwork for internal customer support processes at product launch.

You might be a good fit for this role if you:

  • Are obsessed with creating delightful customer experiences.
  • Are resourceful, scrappy, and enjoy coming up with creative solutions to tough problems.
  • Are well organized with strong attention to detail, and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and manage parallel projects with multiple moving pieces.
  • Enjoy coordinating cross-functional activities and have an ability to learn and understand new technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+years equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with and gaining insights from end users.
  • Familiarity with using, debugging and troubleshooting Wi-Fi and IoT devices and gadgets.
  • Background in user-centered design or customer support.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing outcomes-based programs.

Benefits

  • Medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance
  • 401k
  • Paid parental leave
  • Commuter benefits
  • Unlimited PTO within reason
