Job Description

Crayon is looking for an imaginative and talented visual designer to help drive our company’s marketing initiatives. As a member of the marketing team, you’ll work side-by-side with demand gen, content, and product marketing to create stunning visual solutions across digital and print media.

This position will play a key role in elevating and uniting the brand across multiple platforms, while executing the day-to-day design needs of the organization. You will shape Crayon’s brand and visual presence across all types of marketing materials (website and landing pages, emails, ad banners, infographics, collateral for sales and events, swag, etc.). The Visual Designer may be responsible for an entire project or for stages of the creative process, as needed. This position requires a versatile designer with exceptional attention to detail who can help translate large amounts of information into compelling visuals that tell a story.

Crayon is not interested in getting anyone sick. Safety for our people and community is our number one concern. We’ve been a remote workforce since sending the team home in March 2020 and we will remain remote until we can come together safely and mask-free. Some roles will require us to go to our office in the historic Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. Other roles will have an option of a remote or hybrid position, based on your preference and family's needs.

About the role:

  • Create beautiful, compelling and functional visual designs for corporate website pages, email campaigns, online ads and landing pages
  • Lead the visual direction and design of marketing content, to include e-books, infographics, white papers and reports
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure we’re putting forth a consistent brand image.
  • Design high-impact PowerPoint presentations for webinars, sales presentations, speaking engagements
  • Liaise with external vendors when necessary to ensure project completion on time and on budget
  • Collaborate closely with other marketing team members, for high-impact, effective communication designs
  • Help manage vendor design projects, including website redesigns or large-scale outsourced projects
  • Institute brand standards with consistent branding across all materials (web and print) and design guidelines for distribution to internal and external partners
