About The Role:Madison Logic is seeking anInformation Security amp; Data Privacy Compliance Specialistin its NYC Headquarters. This individual will takeresponsibility for planning, developing, and finalizing Cybersecurity, data protection and privacy policies, processes, procedures, implementation plans, standards and best practices.What You’ll Do: - Execute day-to-day operational tasks in support of overall security and compliance program objectives
- Support sales and customers as needed in understanding Madison Logic’s security and privacy controls; review contract terms and Data Processing Agreements to ensure alignment between commitments, capabilities and compliance Qualifications
- Handle information security and data privacy requests effectively and in a timely manner
- Assist in overall global compliance efforts, monitoring controls and documenting operational evidence where needed (including compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations)
- Assess new and existing vendors to understand and mitigate information security and data privacy risks
- Manage security audits
- Maintain documentation and respond to requests for documentation on company security compliance, systems accreditation, and management
- Assess the effectiveness of IT security and privacy training and certification programs to ensure training remains consistent and appropriately addresses Cybersecurity and privacy threats and is compliance with all applicable policies laws and regulations
- Contribute to information security team analysis and planning efforts, making process and configuration suggestions
Qualifications | Basic Requirements:- B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- 4+ years’ experience with the implementation and support of an IT Security program
- Prior experience developing IT Security and Data Governance policies
- 2+yrs auditing experience in any of the following certification standards: GDPR / CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, COBIT, NIST, CIS, HIPPA.
- Working knowledge of penetration testing tools, AWS network security and IAM, perimeter security, application firewalls, single sign-on, active directory policy, SIEM, anti-malware, VPN, email security, key management,incident management, risk assessment, log management, change management, backup and disaster recovery, highly available and distributed infrastructures
- Working knowledge of data subject privacy rights, PII data handling, data protection and cookie laws, data transmission and encryption requirements, data access controls, data retention and destruction, vendor assessment questionnaires, data privacy impact assessments, data breach and other cyber incident response
