Job Description
This role will be responsible for acting as Cherry Street Energy's Owner's Representative across the lifecycle of each solar project. The Owner's Representative will, on average, oversee between 4-6 commercial PV projects at various stages of design, pre-construction, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Success Metrics
- (60 days) come up to speed with internal practices and policies
- (90 days) generate a Project Management Plan and processes for successfully managing between 15-20 projects
- (180 days) demonstrate, via key metrics outlined in the PM Plan, success rate and recommended change to PM Plan
- (360 days) onboard and train two assistant Project Managers
Requirements
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. in engineering or construction management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificate strongly preferred
- Commercial construction project management experience: 5+ years
- Solar energy education or experience
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application to solar photovoltaic systems
- NABCEP certification
