We are recruiting a Business Systems Analyst/Developer to join our dynamic Customer Systems team.

Work may be performed remotely until telework status changes (currently on telework until July 1). Work is normally performed in the Falls Church office, Mon-Fri, flexible start time.

SUMMARY: Responsible for ongoing maintenance, enhancement, integration with other platforms, and support for the organization’s NetSuite ERP/CRM implementation. Administers the platform and Implements new business processes and features to improve the effectiveness of Tax Analysts. Assists in assessing additional enterprise software to meet company needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet the organization’s objectives.

  1. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify, plan, and implement complex business requirements using NetSuite forms, SuiteScript, web services, and other tools.
  2. Maintain, modify and enhance existing processes and integrations between NetSuite and other platforms.
  3. Provide administrative and end-user support for the ERP/CRM platform and monitor system security in accordance with company policy.
  4. Maintain work queues for development and end user support, communicate status to the development team and business stakeholders.
  5. Develop dashboards and operational reports to provide insight into ERP/CRM data for staff, managers, and executives.
  6. Objectively communicate project status, concerns, and risks to team, leadership, and stakeholders.
  7. Perform integrity testing of system upgrades before new version releases and make system changes to ensure integrity upon go-live.
  8. Continually seek understanding about the intersection between business, user experience, workflow, and technology to drive automation in business operations.
  9. Evaluate and recommend processes, software, functions, etc. to enhance Tax Analysts’ ability to perform business functions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Experienced Full Stack Developer
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM platforms, e.g., NetSuite
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SuiteScript, JavaScript, web services, and REST APIs
  • Self-motivated work style with the ability to research solutions and learn new systems
  • Experience working across all aspects of ERP/CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Transact-SQL
  • Well-organized, cross-functional, embraces change, positive thinking, and able to follow through on tasks and deliver
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with internal staff from across the organization and external consultants

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Information Systems or related field required. Four years of related work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 2+ years experience as a developer
  • 3+ years implementing, administering and/or developing with NetSuite
  • Familiarity with accounting, customer service, subscription management, and B2B sales preferred
