Job Description

Title: Regional Sales Manager

Classification: Exempt

Work Location: Central US - Remote + 50% Travel within Region

Region: AL, AR, KS, LA, MO, MS, OK

Required

  • 2+ Years experience selling PACS, VMS, video analytics, readers, credentials and other related physical security technologies
  • Minimum of 2 years experience developing pull-through business using a consultative, strategic-selling process at the C-Level.

Summary

This is a new RSM role and region for Identiv. The proper candidate will manage amp; direct all aspects of business development to achieve sales and profit goals in a multi-state region by supporting and enhancing a dealer channel consisting of dealers, integrators and resellers by generating pull through business with strategic end-users.


Responsibilities

  • Dealer/Installer Channel Management
  • Generate Pull-Through Business by Facilitating Sales Calls on End-Users of Strategic Value.
  • Set Short amp; Long Term Sales Strategies
  • Implement Appropriate Sales Techniques to Increase Region’s Sales Volume
  • Strategic Planning, Lead Management, Sales Reporting, amp; Forecasting
  • System Design amp; Cost Estimating
  • Influence Architects, Engineers, Specifiers amp; Consultants
  • Perform End-User Seminars and Participate in Regional and National Trade Shows
  • Field Level Sales amp; Applications Support amp; Training
  • Lead amp; Direct Work of Others
  • Provide Technical Guidance
  • Perform Conflict Resolution
  • Manage Customer Expectations

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience selling PACS, VMS, video analytics, readers, credentials and other related physical security technologies
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience developing pull-through business using a consultative, strategic-selling process at the C-Level is imperative.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience managing a dealer/installer channel consisting of dealer, integrators and resellers required.
  • Experience selling into the Fortune 1000 environment desired.
  • Experience selling network/IT-centric solutions is highly desired.
  • Experience working with Local, State, and Federal government customers a plus
  • Experience in the network, database, or software industries a plus.


  • High-School Graduate or GED Required
  • 4-Year Degree a plus but not necessary for the right candidate.
  • Additional Technical Training and Network Certifications a Plus
