Ness is an early-stage stealth startup at the crazy/exciting/challenging intersection of fintech and healthcare.

Funded by some of the most iconic operators and entrepreneurs in the space and started by the former CEO amp; Founder of Greatist (acquired by Healthline in 2019), we're building an AmEx-like credit card for health spending with a enormous ambitions to flip healthcare on its head through intuitive, easy-to-use solutions built for consumers who want to get and stay healthy instead of for patients when they get sick. and to increasingly own the consumer wallet spend in health, a massive opportunity to reward the right behaviors and bring the cost of sick care down.

Generally, we're looking for someone who can drive the product roadmap to build the first version of a mobile-native product and has previously helped create a delightful consumer-first user experience. We can't build this business without someone like you!

Ultimately, you will be one of our most important builders responsible for laying the foundation of a truly innovative product with the potential to change healthcare forever.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of product management or relevant technical experience.
  • You're flexible and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • You're comfortable driving decisions while gathering open input from stakeholders.
  • You have a track record of building and shipping successful products.
  • You focus on and rally others around achieving outcomes.
  • You're a quick learner, able to connect dots, and create insights out of data.
  • You have a bias for action.
  • You are ruthless prioritizer and understand how to manage scope.
  • You are highly collaborative and can pivot your approach to get to the best collective outcome.
  • You are energized by solving very complex product problems.
  • You've got a growth mindset and bring positive energy in the face of adversity.
  • You've got experience building integrations and working with third party partners (and dependencies.)
  • You have experience in fintech, credit cards, or health techor an active curiosity in all three.
Things You Might Do.
  • Define a v1 product roadmap in partnership with lead engineer and lead designer.
  • Drive development to bring the first product to launch in 2022.
  • Gather insightsincluding customer research, partner feedback, external market data, to inform your product hypotheses.
  • Set measurable goals that guide your team's execution approach.
  • Collaborate with other functions across the company to prioritize technology investments.
  • Quickly remove roadblocks to shipping and executing.
  • Continuously prioritize the needs of customers and the business.
  • Clearly communicate product priorities across the company.
  • Inspire and support your team to drive meaningful results for the business.
  • Identify key roles and team gaps as they arise, hire as appropriate.
  • Develop people management skills, with possibility of team management.
  • In partnership with product marketing, drive customer research for new investments for 12-18 months out.
