Job Description

Huckberry is building a world-class Product Development team to take our House Brands to the next level. We are on a mission to create high-quality, differentiated products to serve our customer base. This includes apparel, footwear, home goods, accessories, gear, and more!

We are looking for a strategic Product Development Manager who's passionate about product quality and men's lifestyle. This role is responsible for bringing our products to life, from concept through production. This role works closely with our Designers, Developers, Merchandisers, suppliers, and freelance partners.


Responsibilities:
  • Revamp and manage our PLM system and development calendar
  • Lead the team to ensure key milestones are hit
  • Manage and strengthen factory relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, merch, and the buyers on seasonal assortments
  • Work with your development team to hit costing and delivery targets while executing the designer's vision
  • Oversee fit process and block standards for all brands
  • Ensure quality checkpoints are met during the development process
  • On-time completion of development across all departments
  • Photo sample quality prototypes for our quarterly company-wide presentation

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in Product Development and/or Technical Design in multiple categories: apparel, footwear, accessories, and gear
  • Management experience required
  • A high sense of ownership is required in this role
  • Must be highly proficient in PLM, Illustrator, Google suite and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail along with strong follow-through
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Works well within a collaborative environment with cross functioning teams
  • Domestic and international travel will be required
