Position Title

Financial Planning and Analysis (FPamp;A) Manager

Position Summary

This high-visibility position reports to the CFO, seamlessly works cross-functionally with sales and operational leadership, and requires the ability to meet deadlines, create presentations, generate meaningful reporting, create and improve financial models and various special projects.


Requirements

Responsibilities

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

  • Develop and maintain financial models for existing and new business initiatives
  • Drive and implement new process changes to foster a continuously improving business environment, including profitability improvement and analysis of markets for business opportunities
  • Calculate and analyze various financial and operational metrics including pricing and contracting
  • Research financial and operational trends
  • Provide financial support to sales and operations management, including evaluation of market trends and providing insight for decision-making
  • Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations
  • Lead discussions and provide direction on financial results, forecasts, budgets and trends
  • Routine communication inside and outside the department relating to financial reports and deliverables
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance
  • Internal audit of key business areas; evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure data integrity
  • Cross train as back-up for other staff
  • Responsible for performing management reporting and analysis
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reporting for senior management
  • Engage with the business, researching and partnering with Business Units
  • Develop policies and procedures, review and research transactions
  • 5-7 years related FPamp;A experience
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques, accounting processes, procedure and internal controls
  • Effective Communication Skills (Written amp; Verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Takes ownership
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Shows initiative, confidence, and drive to achieve results without explicit direction or detailed instructions

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (VBA, PivotTables, reference to external databases, complex formulas)
  • Substantial experience with an ERP (G/L, A/P, A/R, etc)., NetSuite experience a plus
