Join the Dippin' Dots ice cream team as a cashier/salesperson. Hiring for the upcoming 2021 summer season at the Chicago Premium Outlets; Aurora, IL. The season runs from May 1st until mid October (mall hours 10am - 8pm with special holiday hours). We are looking to hire for the morning and afternoon shifts.

The team member will ensure all sales transactions run smoothly and will help maximize customer satisfaction.

• Manage transactions with customers accurately and efficiently using cash registers
• Greet customers and serve Dippin' Dots ice cream
• cross - sell products, introduce new ones and special offers
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy serving and checkout areas
• Maintain product and stock (cups and spoon) inventories
• close out shift accurately (cash drawer)

Requirements

• cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred but not required
• inventory management preferred but not required
• flexible shift hours
• weekend and holiday shift hours required
• ability to work outdoors
• 16 years of age or older

• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
