At Hinge Health, we consider our Health Coaches part of our secret sauce. Our Coaches work with each of our program participants to establish successful long term habit change around movement and a healthy lifestyle, starting with Day 1 of their Hinge Health program.
We are currently hiring Associate Health Coaches to join our team as full time and remote employees. We are looking for folks who are passionate about health and supporting others, lead with empathy, and have strong listening skills. At Hinge Health, a growth mindset is one of our core values, so the right candidates are excited to build a new skill set and are open to quickly implementing feedback.
Please note: We have currently met our hiring needs in New York Metro, Chicago, Seattle, Austin amp; Dallas, and California and are not considering Coaches based in these locations. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Listen openly to participant challenges, get creative in adapting to their needs, and work with them toward healthy lifestyle changes.
- Leverage Hinge Health coaching platform to make strategic, effective coaching decisions.
- Help us to iterate on our product and program as you share feedback from our Hinge Health participants with our Product and Operations teams.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Empathetic and non judgemental. You know how hard it can be to change old habits so you never give up on people.
- You have a demonstrated ability to foster positive professional relationships.
- Willingness to become an expert in learning and translating best practice coaching to a digital forum. Our coaches are creative and adaptable to coaching our program participants via text, phone, and email.
- Exceptionally detail oriented and organized. You'll need to be able to confidently and proactively manage a large number of program participants (700+) using our proprietary systems that support this.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that encourages critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
- You have an inviolable commitment to privacy. We operate on a highly developed security platform and expect our coaches to uphold this standard of safety.
- Formal health or wellness coaching experience is not required; however, movement background, sports coach, group wellness, or a career in a patient facing position or call center position is a bonus. Recent Graduates in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Healthcare Management are also welcome to apply.
- Full time position, weekdays with flexible scheduling.
- Fluent in speaking and writing Spanish and utilizing these skills regularly in serving members.
